Here we are! The first edition of Baltic Inspiration ended yesterday night, after a cultural and festive week-end !

Saturday morning, Senza confini di pelle, a dance duet from Italy have proposed a workshop. Only one young girl came to dance, but all tree were very happy !

The boats of Stephanie Imbeau were still in the beach, even if the rain make them quite destroyed ! But this is part of the artistic risk !

During the afternoon, I also went to Bastorf, a small village next Kühlungsborn, where 3 artists are living. One of them, the painter Joy JO is exposing here a big part of her work made here.

The Saturday have been ended by a fabulous dance performance of Senza confini di pelle, in the school of Kühlungsborn.

Sunday 4th of December, last day of Baltic Inspiration ... time is always running to fast !

In the morning, I've been part as a jewellery model to a jewellery presentation from Ben Zion David, artist in residency with KMI, and two locals jeweller. With me : Sarah, Stephanie Imbeau, Pauline Gray, Catharina and Anne. The presentation was preceded also by a beautiful dance performance of Senza Confini di pelle.

For finish this weekend, Lucineh Hovanissian, armenien composer and singer have proposed a workshop during the afternoon. She proposed a mix of : songs and armenien knowledge ... very interesting !

And this is how Baltic Inspiration ended ! A very nice week-end, with a lot of great artistic moment :)

Thursday 1st December, the first edition of the festival Baltic Inspiration have been open in the Vielmeer Café, in the marina of Kühlungsborn.

During this evening, the mayor of the city, the touristic manager and a part of the executive committee of the association have been presented their congratulations to the staff .... well official openning :)

It was a very nice night : all the artist have presented themselves, and the concert of Nora&Leo (best music band of Kühlungsborn!!) ended by a acoustic ball !

Here we go ! Since almost one week, the very exiting part of my volunteering had started : the artistic residency programm. From the 1st of November until the 15th of December, we are going to welcome with the association, 21 artists from more than 10 different country, and from all the artistic disciplines : painting, photography, visual work, music, etc ...

For the moment 6 artist arrived in Kühlungsborn : Stephanie Imbeau(visual artist/USA), Pauline Gray(screenwriter/USA), Joy JO(Painter/South Korea),Marzia Rossi(Painter/Italy), Lucineh Hovanissian(Musician/Armenia) and Kate Nolan(Photografer/Ireland).

Between the first work appointment, organisation of the workshop with the schools, the organisation of the daily life, start to learn more about each others, present the region to the artist and all the communication work with all the different medias ... Our days are very busy. But I really love it ! Every days are differents, I'm meeting very different people from all around the world ... I can't wait to welcome all the others!!!
